POLICY POSITIONS

 AB 329: Sexual Health Education

I consider this a gross overreach of special interest groups into our public-school classrooms. – Denise Pedrow

Mandatory Vaccinations

Getting rid of medical waivers regarding vaccination schedules was not necessary. This is a huge overreach by special interest groups and Sacramento politicians. We the people have the right of refusal with regard to injecting substances into our children. – Denise Pedrow

Quote

“We stand together against the tyranny that Liberalism is bringing upon us and our children.”

“Viva la Roja, Blanca y Azul (Long live the Red, White and Blue.” – Marine Sgt. James M. Lopez

Parental Rights

I vigorously support Parental Rights regarding their children’s education and immunization. Parents and doctors are the ONLY truly informed parties who can make a sound decision regarding an individual child’s health. Parents and doctors are the ONLY ones with the first-hand knowledge to accurately discern if a child’s immune system can handle the 72 vaccines/boosters that are now required by law. Parents are the ONLY people who accurately know if their minor child is ready to learn the radical sex education curriculums that are being forced upon elementary, middle and high school students.

I will fight to repeal these “blanket” curriculum changes that are being forced upon our children. I will work for the TAXPAYERS AND PARENTS of California. Sacramento Democratic politicians have BROKEN TRUST with Parents in California. – Denise Pedrow

Taxes

No New Taxes. Sacramento has over-taxed Californians for decades – pushing us to the depressing, #1 spot of “highest taxed state in American.” Yet, our State Controller and Sacramento Bureaucrats refuse to allow an independent audit of the state’s finances. No new taxes or tax increases until Californians see a complete, independent audit.

I oppose all new taxes. I have signed a pledge to oppose al new taxes with ATR-Americans for Tax Reform. (www.atr.org) I will demand a full, public, independent audit of California’s “checkbook” to see where the money has been spent. I will hold the Governor and State Legislators accountable for fiscal irresponsibility. – Denise Pedrow

Prop. 13 (Now Prop. 15)

We must protect Proposition 13 (currently known as Prop. 15) as it stands right now. Don’t be fooled – to remove part of the tax protections will result in ALL protections being eliminated in the very near future. Prop.13 has protected Californians for over 40 years. We need our property tax protections now more than ever before! Sacramento – Hands off Prop. 13!

AB5 – Independent Contractors

The “Gig” law is the shining example of a BAD LAW. It hurts the ability of millions of Californians to work at their chosen jobs. Californians have the RIGHT TO WORK as much as they like and need. SHAME on Democrats in Sacramento to hurt the California workers! I will work to completely REPEAL AB5! – Denise Pedrow

Housing Affordability

The strict Green Regulations that special interest groups have pushed through into public policy hurts the housing industry in California. This has a direct result in increasing housing costs across the state, for every income bracket. The Green Regulations add costs to housing construction by demanding the use of very expensive new technology that costs much more than standard products. This forced the developers to raise prices on rents and purchase price per unit/home in order to cover the extra costs.

I will work to remove the extra Green Regulations that offer minimal-to-any changes in our climate. These regulations only make money for new Green Technology companies and put housing costs beyond what the California family can afford. – Denise Pedrow

Homelessness

The growing problem of homelessness must be aggressively addressed Now. Mental health and drug abuse legislation must be passed to give help to those who desperately need intervention. Sacramento bureaucrats have been funding endless waste with billions of taxpayer dollars for years. Yet these pet programs have minimal results. Time to end the waste.

I will vigorously fight for legislation to help the most vulnerable in our state through effective intervention and treatment programs. We must also fund in-patient mental hospitals and treatment centers that can house hundreds of thousands of homeless statewide. – Denise Pedrow

Sanctuary Cities

I’ve opposed SB54 since it was first introduced. As a Hispanic woman from a law enforcement family, I can see how dangerous the Sanctuary City policy is for California. When illegal criminals are released back into the public instead of being turned over to ICE, they most often return to the same communities to reoffend, victimize and retaliate against its residents. The courts have upheld the position of the Trump Administration to withhold federal funds from cities and states that declare themselves “Sanctuary” for illegal criminal. Common sense must prevail when public safety and lives are on the line.

I will fight to repeal SB54 “Sanctuary Policy” that undermines law enforcement, is out of compliance with federal law and jeopardize public safety. – Denise Pedrow

Immigration

I support a strict immigration policy for the United States. I believe that Congress needs to put aside political agendas and put the American people first. I want to see our Immigration Policy streamlined to properly bet those who would immigrate to American LEGALLY. Becoming an American citizen is a PRIVILEGE not a RIGHT. – Denise Pedrow
